Miss the Mark

To miss the mark is not a sin,
Yet that is what the West plays in;
    No forgiveness is their dark creed:
    Believe in a man to absolve your deed.

For what they cannot see
Is that sin is not a mystery:
    It is nothing more than to miss a mark,
    So then practice is where one must start.

Like the archer on the scene
He must focus on the tree,
To hit the mark or lose the game,
That my friend is the archers way.

Daily practice is what one needs
If he must continue to shoot serene.
Otherwise, he will not see;
He will lose his edge and miss the tree.
