The Christmas Presents

I wanted to share what Christmas did bring,
a few wonderful gifts that made me sing.

The first to share is a beautiful book,
to write my poems when sitting near brooks.

The second to share, a nice fountain pen
that captures my words again and again.

The last to share is a wonderful shirt
that I can dress in when drafting my words.

And those are the gifts I wanted to share,
they left me merry like the Christmas air!

Christmas is Here Again

We traveled Across two states,
To help change the fate
Of a friend who was in need;
They fell into medical greed.

We gave away our possessions,
Based on a horrid confession.
We traveled without delay
To live in this place today.

And now that we’ve arrived
We found out it was lies.
With no more place called home,
We will soon begin to roam.

But as dreadful as this can be,
My wife was sick on Christmas Eve.
She was spewing red and green;
The morning was obscene.

So instead of time with friends
She spent it in the hospital beds.
And even with all this pain,
Christmas is here again!

The Naughty List

Dear Santa,
I’m creating my list,
and I’m telling you that I must insist,
that on that day if you want to live
you bring me a gun and a bottle of gin.

I never did like being nice,
so I only ask once, not twice.

And if you choose to not deliver my needs,
I’ll hunt you down like an animal in the sea.

Naughty or nice,
do you think I care?
Just give me the things
and do not stare.

For if you do, I’ll strip out your eye
and put a bullet in Rudolph’s round hide.

I want to be the first on your list,
the one for the naughty boys,
and of course, girls therein.

Nice is for suckers
and naughty for me,
so give me what I ask
– immediately.

And once you do,
when my gifts arrive,
Christmas is complete
to make my terror alive;
for in next year I have one dream,
to be the best living social disease.

Merry Christmas to all
and to all a good night!

Snowflakes Upon a Fir Tree

Twelve past three I finished my tea
and left for the forest so I could see
a winters gift was just waiting for me.

I took my ax as I went to set free
a snowflake covered Christmas fir tree.
And as I swung at this mighty big tree
a vision in black pointed at me,
saying son, you better go flee.

So I turned around ignoring his plea,
swinging the ax as he counted to three;
it ended, with the removal of my knee!

With one limb gone we both agreed,
I ignored the sign and did not leave;
for it stated that nothing is free
upon these grounds of the Cherokee.

Gingerbread Man

The Gingerbread man
Wants to start a ban.
For on every Christmas day
They eat him all away.

Ole Saint Nick

There once was a man named Ole Saint Nick,
Who would fly down your chimney ever so swift.

He would whistle and a laugh in his jolly ole way
As he ransacked your house, like a tornado insane.

And when he was caught, I didn't deal nice,
He felt my shotgun, like a hand in a vice.

From that night forward he did change his ways.
He left children presents, instead of dismay.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night.

Betrayal

eggnog and french toast
a christmas day tradition
     - betrayal struck home -
the teenage son drunk the rum,
and ate the pancakes and toast

Christmas Remedy

Prepare your remedy
for your Christmas day dependency
of drinking a quart of booze.

Be prudent and true,
to drink every drop due,
for a hangover, you do choose.

So drink another round,
and be the Christmas clown,
as you wont remember the news:

For you will puke and spin,
losing your Christmas day grin
because of that quart of booze.

Christmas 1687

Christmas in sixteen eighty seven
was a time for sexual leaven;
drinking and making merry,
while exchanging their sinful berries;

Eating and drinking door to door
for the sake of being a whore,
for all involved in this fun
were waiting the arrival of the sun;

Twas the nights of lights
of pure sexual delights,
with no admission of sin,
for all partook with a sexual grin.

Genders disguised as one another
to have their way with each other;
man or woman, it didn't matter
for the carnival was their platter.

And while their acts continued on
they all sung the caroling songs,
with booze and sex running the streets,
a wonderful night of sinful treats.

Merry Christmas to all,
and to all a good night.
