One + One = None

When two become one,
one becomes undone
– destroying one:
    One plus one equals none.

No fun, no sun,
nowhere to run;
the mathematical equation done,
    like one choked
       with an arrow through their throat.

For one plus one to equal two,
One plus one must run
to understand the connecting sign
of the plus, rather than the divide
    – which ultimately destroys, mankind.
