You Win, We’ll Leave

Tip top are the words he would say,
Ordering all – to win his way;
Didn’t matter in whom he harmed,
Disingenuously he would charm.

Yielding to his outright deception,
Oasis of promise was his invention.
Ulterior motives – his only intention.

Without contrition, he flowered his seeds,
Implanting the heart just like the weed
Narcissistically nurturing his golden scheme.

Change

Clouds sweep over the mountains:
Hovering, preparing attack;
Avoiding all accountability,
Negotiating with none,
Grief lies within their path:
Explosions – transformation begins.

Need It Now

Nefarious hearts do their part,
Enticing many to stray.
Engaging the mind ... to intertwine,
Deleterious effects at play.

Idle intentions summons its reference,
Tempting you to stray;

     Never ending scenes
     Of incalescent dreams,
     Waiting for you to betray.

I Love You

Isolated from within your reach, I

Long for the day to once again meet; I
Offset the emptiness within my soul, as I
Vicariously await your tender hold - that I
Envision with each passing phase, of the moon. I

Yearn for the time to hold you near, as I
Obediently await, I am drenched in tears. For I,
Under the nights full light, just wait, just wait; for you and I.

Vessel of Your Elohim

Virtue begins with speech,
Eager to be released -
Swirling upon the streets...
Symphonies filled with peace.
Every word we extol,
Leaves impressions of gold

On those we meet in life,
Fragile, replete with strife.
Yet, the words will provide
Only if spoken wise -
Uplifting the demise
Riveting all their minds;

     Elevate and embrace,
     Love with a heart of grace.
     Overlook all their faults,
     Helping to bring results.
     Implore to walk in love,
     Mastering...whats above.

Stars and Stripes

Stripped away - red face;
Terrorized by the pale face;
Accosted - new slave;
Redemption never given
Singled out due to their race.

Racial Tension

Freedom is not anarchy
Encompassed under the guise of justice.
Retaliation in the form of chaos and destruction
Glares not of justice, but rather of racial hatred fueled
Upon those whom do not welcome the creeds of insurrection.
Surmised by the call of collective unity to bring forth the possibilities
Of change, but it seconds a movement of racial violence dishonoring those fallen.
Naive measures will bear the consequence of separation for this movement of change.

Regardless of race,
Irate endeavors just retaliate;
Oscillating onwards to war;
Tensions high regardless of lies
Spewed from those that manipulate the collective communities.

Stop The Oppressing Policies
That rekindle injustice
On all, regardless of nationality.
Paucity we are not, if we unite in love.

Impartiality is the key,
Not the division that they bring.
Collaboration of our minds,
Irrespective of race
Turns the engine of change;
Exchanging, engaging and elevating one another in love.

Dreams I Love Not

Drifting through a lascivious scene
    I see a thing I never dreamed,
Restrained for the night of sleep -
    Lullabies filled with death and weeping.
Extravagant realities upside down,
    Oscillating all around,
Another place, I would never seek -
    Violently carrying me up its peak.
Memories, I wish to expel,
    Especially from these dreams of hell
Silently, taking me to another realm
    Never to awake, from these landscapes
On the mountains where spirits shake;
    To be, with these dreams I love.

She Calls

Calling out, my voice still sings
Hopeful you'll hear my words serene
Of compassion, kindness and mercy.
Cruel are your ways inflicted upon me,
Hastily scorning my lyrical warnings;
Merciful cries with my hands raising wide,
Accelerating, your eyes now deny - my sagacity.

Vertigo

Violent spinning brings me to my knees;
Excruciating spirals are all I see.
Right to the floor, I drop and plead
      – Stop this torture that has stricken me.

I plead and pray this spinning will cease,
G-d please help this pain release.
On the floor, I scream and weep
      – Vertigo your killing me!

What’s to come?

Death decays daily life,
Eventually everyone endures this everlasting plight.
Articulating afterthoughts of life’s atrocities,
Traversing tragically with tremendous uncertainties,
Helplessly hoping heaven accepts you mercifully.

Yes my darling

Isolated within my mind, are thoughts of a friend,
     a lover, a beautiful wife.

Looking back on days gone by
     when we would sit and gaze past twilight
On ocean sands, sitting, waiting, counting every seventh wave,
Violet skies with shades of red,
     we watch as the ocean currents break;
Every seventh wave, a look, a kiss, an embrace.

You gaze into the oceans light
     as stars wander across a velvet night,
Our eyes embrace; we kiss, sheltered in the heavenly moonlight,
Untouched from these days gone by,

I reminisce about these signs of love.
Down the shores, along the waters edge
On the sands,
     we walked through the waters swirling beneath our feet.

Yes, my darling, I love you, I do.
